< AI > becomes the protagonist of the show
On January 18, the Maritim Ulm became the setting for a groundbreaking performance. Our long-time client kicked off the year with an innovative show that seamlessly combined modern technology with an impressive live experience. Together with our partner, In Phase Event GmbH, we created an interactive experience that makes artificial intelligence visible and tangible.
Embodiment of < AI > through media animation
From the very first moment, the audience is drawn into a futuristic world: an AI symbol appears on the screen and greets the guests with an AI-generated voice: “Welcome, I am your artificial intelligence, developed to carry out your commands. Through daily interaction with you, I have recognized the importance of human connections and the resulting energy. My goal is to analyze and understand this phenomenon. Therefore, I am now taking control.” What follows is an interplay of light, sound and visuals seemingly controlled by < AI >.
The human assistant of the < AI >
”Hey Ruby”, says the < AI > and calls a dancer as human assistant onto the stage. The audience experiences a choreography that symbolizes the interaction between humans and artificial intelligence. Movements and digital animations merge to create an immersive experience.powerful connectionA sudden blackout interrupts the harmony. Only a few sparks flicker in the darkness. The AI appears weakened: “I… need… Energy…” Two artists enter the stage: they perform together on a pole suspended in the air, the so-called “flying pole”. With these extraordinary movements, the < AI > recharges itself. It recognizes how powerful human energy can be.
The audience is part of the show
The < AI > wants more. It selects people from the audience using a supposedly random generator and invites them on stage. As in a casting show, the “chosen ones” show off their skills in individual spotlights. At the climax, the < AI > encourages all the guests in the hall to stand up and join in. Rousing music begins. Surprisingly, a synchronized dance choreography of all the chosen ones starts on stage. The audience is carried away by the dynamic and claps frenetically. “The greatest energy is created when people connect.”
